La Technologie

The Science of Identité.

Engineered for the anatomy of the eye. The first anatomically tuned silicone reservoir patch, designed by an oculoplastic surgeon for the under-eye region.

Le Fondateur

Surgeon-engineered for non-surgical rejuvenation.

Identité was founded by Linden Doss, M.D., a fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon practicing in Santa Barbara, California. Dr. Doss completed his oculoplastic fellowship at the University of Southern California under the direction of Dr. Mike Burnstine, and serves as Chair of Ophthalmology at Ventura County Medical Center and Volunteer Professor of Oculoplastic Surgery at USC.

After more than a decade operating on the eyes and surrounding tissue — performing thousands of procedures on the most delicate anatomy of the face — Dr. Doss began designing what was missing from his own dispensary: a product that bridged the gap between daily skincare and clinical intervention.

Identité is the result. Every contour of the patch is shaped to the orbital rim and inferior eyelid — the anatomical landscape Dr. Doss treats every day in surgery.

L’Anatomie

An anatomical reservoir, not a generic patch.

Most under-eye patches are flat hydrogel circles or oval shapes designed for shelf appeal, not facial anatomy. Identité’s patch is contoured along three axes:

  • Curved to follow the orbital rim
  • Tapered to sit flush against the inferior lid
  • Shaped to avoid the lacrimal trough and lateral canthus

The reservoir architecture — a fine hexagonal microstructure embedded in medical-grade silicone — creates micro-wells that hold the active in sustained contact with the skin. Unlike flat patches that distribute product unevenly, the reservoir cells release their contents gradually, maintaining occlusion and active concentration over the full wear time.

Designed for the way the under-eye actually behaves — not for the way it photographs.

La Plateforme

Bring your own.

Most skincare delivery systems lock you into a proprietary formula. Identité is designed differently. The patch is the delivery technology; the active ingredient is whatever you already use and trust.

Apply your existing active — vitamin C, peptides, retinoid, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid — and place the patch over the treated area. The reservoir holds it in sustained contact with the skin under gentle occlusion, enhancing penetration without modifying the product you’ve already invested in.

A layering system, not a replacement.

La Propriété

Built on patented technology.

Identité’s patch architecture is the subject of more than five provisional patents covering anatomical contouring, reservoir microstructure, dermal delivery mechanisms, and patient-specific cosmetic device design. Each design iteration is developed through laboratory research with medical-grade material partners, with prototype validation performed in collaboration with materials scientists and formulation engineers.

Identité is committed to building defensible intellectual property in a category that has, until now, competed on branding alone.

Le Pont

Bridging skincare and the clinic.

Identité is intentionally positioned at the intersection of two worlds. It is sophisticated enough for daily consumer use, but engineered to surgical standards — and rigorous enough to be dispensed alongside professional procedures.

Future product lines will include surgeon-dispensed recovery protocols developed for specific post-procedure use cases. The Reservoir patch, available in V1, is the foundational platform.
