L’Atelier

The making of Identité.

Identité is the work of an oculoplastic surgeon, medical-grade material partners, and a single design vocabulary applied across the whole.

Le Fondateur

A note on origin.

Most skincare is sold by people who have never put a knife to skin. Identité is built by someone who has spent a career doing exactly that.

The products that reach the market are mostly engineered for shelf appeal. Pleasant scent, pleasing color, an ingredient list designed to read well to a customer scanning the back of a box. The pharmacology is rarely the point. When it is, it usually consists of a single hero molecule applied at concentrations the manufacturer hopes will be perceived as clinical.

Identité begins from the other end of the question. Begin with what the tissue actually is. Calibrate the active to the biology of the receptor it is meant to engage. Engineer the delivery so the active reaches the tissue at the right concentration over the right duration. Then design the product around that.

“Begin with what the tissue actually is.”

The first patches will be available in late 2026. The silicone is medical-grade. The geometry is anatomical. Every part of the system is being assembled with the same standard of care that operates on the eye.

This page is for those who want to know how it is being made.

— Linden Doss, MD, FACS — oculoplastic surgeon, founder.

L’Anatomie

La Géométrie

Every contour traces the orbital rim and inferior eyelid — the anatomical landscape Dr. Doss treats in surgery. Curved to the rim. Tapered to the lid. Shaped around the lacrimal trough.

L’Objet

L’Étui

A soft molded case keeps the silicone surface clean between wears. The patch lives in the case; the case lives in an ivory paper box. Quiet, protective, considered.

Le Rituel

One face. One patch. One ritual.

The ritual is brief and deliberate. It is designed to fit in the quiet moments at the end of a day, when the tasks are done and the only thing left is the small act of taking care.

  1. 01. Cleanse the face. Pat dry.
  2. 02. Open the case. Remove the patch.
  3. 03. Apply your active to the under-eye area.
  4. 04. Place the patch over it. The fit will guide the placement.
  5. 05. Rest for thirty minutes. Read. Think. Be still.
  6. 06. Remove the patch. Rinse with cool water. Return to the case.

The patch is reusable. The active is whatever you already use. Each patch is engineered for many wearings, and the system is designed to last.

L’Objet

The object the product comes in.

The packaging is part of the product. We treat it that way.

The outer box is dense ivory paper, dry-finished, with the brand mark in soft ink. The patch lives in a soft molded case that protects the silicone surface from contact with air and dust between wears. The case keeps the surface clean; the box keeps the case considered.

Nothing is logoed unnecessarily. The materials are there for protection and ritual. Every choice is the smallest, quietest version of itself.
